Turgenia latifolia, also known as “Karaheci” or False Carrot, is a flowering plant within the Apiaceae family, resembling Caucalis. This genus comprises up to seven species and is distributed across Africa, Europe, temperate and tropical regions of Asia, and North America. The plant can grow from 10 to 60 cm, featuring an erect, hairy, and branched stem, with leaves being alternate and hairy. The corolla ranges in color from white to pinkish, and the fruit is about 1 cm long and prickly. It is a resilient species, often found in fields and disturbed areas.
