Myrobalan Latent Ringspot Nepovirus(MLRSV0), known as Myrobalan latent ringspot virus or Nepovirus cerasiferae, is a member of the Secoviridae family, Nepovirus genus. The host of virus is Prunus species. The virus remains latent, however; infected plants of some cultivars of P. avium, especially Bing, develop enations on the underside of the leaves and develops severe rosetting. The mode of transmission is not known; however, it is thought that there may be nematode transmission.
