The disease spreads more quickly, especially when there is a large temperature difference between day and night. The symptoms of the pathogen are formation of small, yellowish spots and appearance of rust-colored spore pads on the upper surface of leaves, reddish spots and swellings on shoots, deformation and staining of fruits. The mode of transmission is by air or water, through infected tools and seedlings.
