Apple Hammerhead Viroid (AHVD00) a member of family Avsunviroidae consisting of a circular RNA molecule of 434 nt. This viroid causes disease in apple species. It’s important to detect this viroid apple plants because of bad effects on yield. The symptom of this pathogen is trunk splitting, mosaic, necrosis, shoot decline, and fruit scars. The mode of transmission is not known for this viroid, however, it may spread via vegetative propagules, mechanical damage, seed, pollen, or biological vectors like other viroids.
