Tomato Planta Macho Viroid (TPMVd) is an RNA viroid that is the member of Pospiviroidae family. It causes infection on tomato plant. The symptoms of this pathogen may change due to temperature, humidity, light conditions, and strain. Common symptoms are chlorosis, bronzing, leaf deformation, diminished growth, large yield loss, and low-quality fruits. This viroid is transmitted by seed and pollen; therefore, it can spread the whole plants in greenhouses in a short time.
